#FridayPhrases (#102)

Welcome to my weekly FridayPhrases roundup post. This is a weekly microfiction event hosted on Twitter. Check out the link for more information.

This week’s theme: Blissful ignorance

My tweets:

Years spent blissfully ignorant, then a window on the outside world opens, and she sees the darkness she lives in. Then she wants more.

Rain pattering, feet walking, backpack on her shoulders. Ignorance had been bliss. Was the truth worth this loneliness and pain?
